The Athletes of the Week for SUU are Austin Manuele and Mia Hart.
Manu, a Junior, has worked very hard since his Freshman year to develop his running. At SUU Manu was 4th PV JV runner and 8th overall with a time of 16:55 (a 3 mile State equivalent of 18:16) helping lead the team to a JV victory over Mt. View.
Mia has established herself as one of the top Freshman runners on the team. Since joining the team at the start of the school year, she has continually improved and pushed those around her. Mia recorded a 22:39 at SUU and placed 4th on the JV team helping them to a 3rd place finish behind Cedar and Mt. View (within 4 points). As usual, great job guys.
