  • The 2022 schedule has had a couple changes! *Hurricane moving again* and start time to Dixie All-Comers moved back

Race Report:
Timpanogos Invite -  The Varsity girls and boys lined up against the best in the State this past weekend at Timpanogos. The girls placed 13th with Brook leading the way as the 37th scorer. Emmalee was 53rd. She was followed by Adri in 61st, Katie in 91st, Kate in 94th, then Elle in 105th and Ma'a in 111th. The boys followed up with a 21st place team finish. Trey led the way as 19th scorer. He was followed by Bridger in 111th, Porter 117th, Kyler 139th, Diego 148th, Keaton 153rd and Dane at 155th. Although this wasn't the worse race we've ever had, it wasn't our best this season and that is bound to happen. One of the most important things we can learn in life is how to handle the disappointments and grow from them then move on to keep reaching for our best. PVXC Thought of the Week:
"Only swimmers understand that the hardest part of the sport isn't the last 100 of a 400IM or the last 50 of a 200 fly, but it's convincing yourself day in and day out to jump into a freezing cold pool with your toes already curled over the edge at 6:00 AM.
"
-Kyle Sockwell
But we aren't swimmers! So let's say this... Only runners (in St. George) will understand that the hardest part of the sport isn't the last 200 of an all out 800 or trying to grind the middle mile of a beastly 5K XC course, but it's convincing yourself day in and day out to go to bed early, eat healthy, hydrate, set aside many other activities, go out and run in the 100+ (110!) degree heat, and wake up before 6:00a even when you wonder if it's all worth it."
-Me probably
You should all be proud of yourselves... you are amazing! Keep putting in work. It will be worth it.
