Time for the XC contribution to Mr. PVHS... THE ROOT BEER MILE!
As hideous as this is, it is our chance to give back to the community and help a family in need. So don't think about the crappiness of drinking root beer and running, but rather helping a kid in need out. All of our proceeds go to Flynn's family, and we NEED everyone to participate (HS, MS, Youngsters, family friends).
What you need to do:
- get prizes (everyone needs to collect prizes for the drawing/raffle, have these by Feb. 7)
- pay your $25 participation fee - this can be paid on your own, or gathered through getting people to bet on you. You can definitely collect more than $25. Pay the money to the PVHS finance office and say it is for the Mr. PVHS Root Beer Mile. Bring receipt to Holt
- enter your bettors - each $1 is an individual bet on you (all bets can win prizes not just winners). Go to this doc and enter each name (and yours) for each $1 bet.
- bring 4 cans of unopened root beer to the event
Event is Feb. 15th right after school on the back grass at PVHS.
